Prior to the big screen, Heather (formerly Heather Thompson) appeared as a guest co-host on several episodes of ABC’s The View alongside Meredith Viera, Star Jones, and Joy Behar. She was one of only 20 women across the country, including Whoopi Goldberg, Rosie O’Donnell, and Elisabeth Hasselbeck to audition live on-air for a vacant co-host spot.

During the Covid Global Pandemic, when the world shut down, Heather and a group of dynamic women produced pilot talk show Beautifully Driven from their own homes. The women used the show to encourage, inspire and uplift audiences during a period of grave isolation.

For over almost 30 years, Heather McKinley has been a constant figure in the Atlanta television market covering live, local, and breaking news for CBS, NBC, and FOX, as well as anchoring the evening news and hosting talk show Get Connected. She has also produced numerous television specials, talk show In-Depth, and 11 Alive’s Community Service Awards.

Throughout her dynamic career Heather has interviewed world leaders and some of the biggest names in Hollywood including Tyler Perry, Angelina Jolie, John Travolta, Cicely Tyson, Presidents George H. Bush and Jimmy Carter, Jane Fonda, Tom Brokaw, Lynn Whitfield, Governor Sonny Perdue, Martin Lawrence, Rosie O’Donnell, Former Governor Zell Miller, Tim Allen, Ted Turner, Senator Max Cleland, and many more.

If you haven't seen her, you may have heard her. Heather has voiced dozens of voice-overs and hosted corporate videos, both locally and nationally. Heather has also used her skills in the consulting arena coaching professional athletes and executive level clients prepare for first-time on-camera interviews.

Heather can also be seen modeling in several national print commercials including Shell Oil, The Ritz Carlton, Naturalwear Magazine, The Bubba Keg and more. Heather began her television news career at CNBC in business and financial news, writing and producing several weekday business shows starring Ron Insana, David Faber, Sue Herrera, Bill Griffith, Joe Kernan and many more.

Following her fast track at CNBC, she was also part of the team hired by Rupert Murdoch and Roger Ailes to launch Fox News Channel in the ‘90’s.

Heather has appeared in several musical and dramatic theatre productions and is a proud member of the Board of Trustees for The Georgia Ensemble Theatre.

Jeff McKinley brings art to life on screen in a most unique fashion. An award-winning expert in horticulture, Jeff has been hired to landscape some of the most beautiful properties in the world seen in countless movies, commercials, and television shows. When Disney’s Animal Kingdom Theme Park was in its inception, McKinley and a team of visionaries brought the lush, tropical, larger-than-life design elements to life. In 2019, Disney’s Animal Kingdom hosted nearly 15 million guests, ranking it as the third-most-visited park in North America and the sixth-most visited park in the world. ABC aired a two-hour prime time special about the making of the Animal Kingdom called The Wonderful World of Disney highlighting many of the beautiful landscapes created by McKinley. Sabrina The Teenage Witch, starring Melissa Joan Hart, Beth Broderick, and Caroline Rhea, traveled to Walt Disney World Resort to film an episode at Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park—one month before the park's grand opening in 1998. The episode aired soon thereafter.

Several feature films showcase McKinley’s art in the beautiful vacation destination, The Atlantis, Bahamas.  Holiday In The Sun, directed by Steve Purcell, starring Mary Kate and Ashley Olsen, After The Sunset, directed by Brett Ratner, starring Pierce Brosnan, Salma Hayek, Woody Harrelson and Don Cheadle, Before, During and After The Sunset, directed by Kevin Krakower, starring Kent Alderman, Obba Babatunde, Fonzworth Bentley and Joe Biggins showcase McKinley’s world winning live sets.

Several television shows shot at The Atlantis also feature McKinley’s elite work. McKinley’s star-studded work also graces the world-famous Las Vegas Strip where countless movies have filmed epic scenes featuring McKinley’s landscape creations. Martin Scorses’s, Casino, Nicolas Cage’s Leaving Las Vegas and Con-Air, Ocean’s Eleven starring George Clooney and Brad Pitt, Rainman, directed by Barry Levinson, starring Dustin Hoffman and Tom Cruise, Honey I Blew Up The Kid, directed by Randal Kleiser, Fear and Loathing starring Johnny Depp, Benicio Del Toro, and Tobey Maguire, Doug Limon’s s Swingers, starring Vince Vaughn, John Favreau… the list goes on and on.

The beautiful, plush properties at the Paris, Bellagio and Ceasars Palace Casino’s also feature McKinley’s landscape work along with the “strip” median in central Las Vegas. Fed Ex World Headquarters, BMW Manufacturing North America, the Nixon and Reagan Presidential Libraries and countless other award-winning landscape builds showcase McKinley’s abilities to bring sets to life, literally.
